Jeffrey A. Safchik
Jeffrey A. Safchik is Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Greenstreet Partners as well as one of its founders. He serves in a similar capacity for all Greenstreet companies and oversees the financial analysis and strategic planning for all investments.
Mr. Safchik is also one of the founders of Greenstreet Real Estate Partners (GREP) and is Chairman of its Investment Committee. Mr. Safchik’s experience as a seasoned real estate investor and capital markets participant adds value to GREP including investment sourcing, capital formation, and the development and implementation of operating strategies. Since its inception, GREP has invested more than $ 1.5 billion in a diversified portfolio of office, industrial, retail and multi-family properties.
Mr. Safchik also serves as Chief Operating Officer of k1Ventures, a Singapore based investment company. In this capacity, Mr. Safchik oversees the Company’s global investment strategies and strategic planning.
Prior to founding Greenstreet Partners, Mr. Safchik was CFO of a real estate company that owned and managed more than 11 million square feet of retail and commercial property across the United States. In addition, Mr. Safchik has served as CFO for a billion-dollar retailer, where he managed the company’s financial affairs and was directly involved in its restructuring.
Mr. Safchik graduated from Pace University in New York and received a master’s degree in taxation from St. John’s University. He has attended advanced finance and real estate courses at MIT and NYU.
A resident of Miami, he is active in a number of local civic and charitable institutions. He serves as a Trustee for the Green Family Foundation, is Chairman of the University of Miami Department of Pediatrics Children’s Council and serves as a director on various boards, and as a member on several executive and audit committees.
